Whistling windows 29M Hurricane 2019

Any body had issues with extremely loud whistling noise coming out of the side cockpit windows. We have a 2019 Thor Hurricane 29M with 3800 miles. On our first long trip we all of a sudden get a very high pitch whistling coming out of what we believe are the side widows. Starts at about 35 mph and increases with speed.

Checked the windows and even applied painters tape exposed leading edges, still getting the whistle. Forget any radio we are wearing foam earplugs to make driving bearable. On the road for another 3 weeks before we can get back to our dealer.

Thanks for any imput

My 29M does that when the window seals need attention. If I don't clean them with a toothbrush and spray them once a month they get rather annoying. I use 3 IN One RVCare Window and Track Dry Lube.

Thumbs up

Thanks I will give that a try. I keep the tracks lubed but hadn’t thought about the seals on those windows.

Forgot to add that on that rubber strip between the window panes, I use 3 In One silicone spray. But cleaning out the tracks and using the dry lube takes care of the noise on my coach.

Sometimes just opening and re-closing them is enough to stop the noise on mine.

As others said spray the top, bottom, and side track. What's happening is the window is not closing all the way and the lock is slightly pushing on the window causing the noise. It looks closed but it can go a little bit further

For the other noise "dog house" issue search for threads for insulating it

I just had both side windows replaced under warranty. No amount of sealant or witch doctor chants worked. It turned out to be the frames were cracked which caused my howling sound. If you're under warranty have them checked out. My RV is a 2018 ACE 32.1.
