Window Valance box above cab

Hi! I’m not sure what to call this, but the frame above the bunk over cab has come unattached from the crawling. Has anyone else repaired this before? Photo is attached.
Thanks!

Looks like when the factory installed the screw they missed hitting a good firm attachment location. I would feel around at the ceiling and see if you can detect a firm surface under the headliner and relocate the screw to that location. Sometimes you can use a small drill bit to test for a hard surface underneath but you have to be careful when doing this because you might damage a wire. Usually you can take your fist and bang the ceiling to detect the underling framework.

Thanks for the help. That all makes sense. Now the problem is how to access the screws once I get it in place.. When it is place, the box is closed off on all sides. Thanks for any help!

I did not catch that. What is the box for? Does not make sense that it would be closed off completely. If it servers no purpose other than to take up space then why not just remove it?
