I had one on my 2015 Vegas. It was on the driver's side right at eye level. It started at the a-pillar and extended to the right about 4 inches and the went down vertically about 8 inches. I had parked at my dealer for some warranty work (no crack) and when I came out with the service rep he told me the windshield was cracked -- crack occurred while parked at dealer. They took pictures and sent them to Thor. Thor verified it was a stress crack and sent a new windshield to them for the dealer to change under warranty.
Thor said an Lshaped crack is almost always from stress. Stress is a problem with this windshield because of all the complex curves in the windshield. It doesn't take much over torque on one of the mounting vlips to induce excessive stress. Then the bouncing around when driving just makes the stress worsem
I,'m sure this is why Thor has gone to a smaller windshield with less compound curves in the 2016s.
