Windshield pillar axis 25.2 2016

Has anyone tried to put insulation of some type behind the plastic pillars running down each side of the windshield. How do you remove them thanks

I think they are only held on at the top and bottom as ours appear to be coming off--I've tried to epoxy them back on with limited results.

Note that you can get access to them via under the "hood" since they are open to the engine bay (yes a large source of noise--simply spraying expanding foam in them will reduce interior noise).

There may be double faced tape involved but I don't really know.
