Windshield sun shade broken. 2016 Thor axis.

The shade on my 2016 Thor axis 24.1 suddenly stopped working today. It’s stuck in the full down position and won’t come back up. Don’t get a sound from the switch at all, it used to beep when you first pushed it and brought the shade up or down. It does the same thing with or without the key in the ignition or the key turned. Nothing. Not a peep. Everything else in the console is working fine, all batteries are fully charged. Any help would be greatly appreciated. 🤗

Things to check.

1. Start unit put in and out of gear.
2. Check all small amp fuses.
3. Find the shade motor, look for any wires that may have came loose.
4. Verify your switch has power, could be defective switch.

Thanks grumpy. Couple of questions…

1. Where would I find the small amp fuse box?
2. How would I verify power to switch?

The fuses could be in a number of locations. Sometimes on side of bed. They are normally easy to find. Look for a small 10 by 8 inch panel.

To check power to the switch , you will need a voltage amp meter.

Also do all other switches in that area work?

Yes, all the others work. Would the small fuse box be separate from the main box that contains all the other items…i.e outlets, microwave, air conditioner, etc?

Yes.. That’s the fuses.

Need to check power to switch, could be defective switch, or roller motor.
