Windy heavy rain and slides

Has anyone suffered from water being blown in through the slide seal during heavy rain storms? Has anyone found a fix?

All the wiper seals have so pieces missing around the tracks and at the corners. It is best to retract the in-wall slides when in a thunder storm.

Exactly!! We do that also. Equally, in freezing weather it will prevent them from freezing up in the "out position".
