2017 Miramar Chassis

I am getting ready to order a steering stabilizer. My MSRP sheet says I have an F22 chassis. On line literature says I have an F53 chassis. I called Thor, they say F22. I called Ford, based in my VIN I have an F53. Who should I believe?

I believe the F22 is Thor's designation for the 22,000 LB GVWR F53 chassis. Ford classifies the chassis as an F53.

Please post how that stabilizer works for you. I have been contemplating one too. Have to get the Miramar aligned first, though. Mine came with a steering wheel a bit to the left off dead center. Doesn’t seem to wander that way in the road, but I’m a bit worried it may be “crabbing” a bit, and don’t really trust the RV dealer to know all they should about alignment. Gotta go to the Ford Truck Dealer before anything. I would also be interested to hear about who you have install yours.

I added the Safe-T-Steer to my 2017 Challenger which is on the F53 chassis and I noticed a definite improvement. Also had an alignment done. Shop said it had a little toe in and should be set at 0 degrees or no toe, in or out.

Safe-T-Plus is a good choice for the F53. I have it on my '14 Hurricane and there is a noticeable improvement with a more relaxed driving experience. I installed myself in about an hour. I have read here though that you should do the alignment first before installing.

Very true VJRocky, I installed it myself. No difficult but occasionally a different mount is required for the axle side mount. Safe-T-steer knew immediately what was needed and I had the modified mount in just a couple days. Alignment shop adjusted mine when they did the alignment.
