Winterizing the refrigerator

To continue the saga...
I’m almost done. I’ve learned a lot in the last 3 days of winterizing. Yeah - 3 days!
The refrigerator has a water and ice dispenser. The seller said “we didn’t use it” but when I pulled out the water filter it dripped. So I know that there’s water in the system.
I can’t pull the fridge away from the wall, so I need to either drain it in place or get antifreeze in the dispenser.

The only thing I can think of is to rehook the bottle of antifreeze up, turn on the pump, and wait to see pink. The water dispenser i can understand the procedure. But how would I get water thru the ice maker?

Next year will be SOOOO much easier!

What brand of fridge? On mine I can jump two terminals under the ice maker cover and that opens the solenoid and leave it until antifreeze comes out.

The two terminals to jump are marked t and h. use a small jumper wire, when the dial starts to move , pull it out. takes about 3 tries to see antifreeze. you can use the water dispenser if you have one, to get most of the water out first.

I had no ice in my ice maker - just water so I jumped from L to V which opened the solenoid valve. I didn’t have to wait for the dial to move.
