Unhappy Sewer Smell outside & inside

We are having the worst smell from our rv on the inside and out. We have camped for years and understand the black tank and gray tank. It’s neither. We are unable to find the vent for the outside kitchen. It smells like it’s coming from there. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

We have a 2019 Coachman Pursuit Motorhome

Since Coachmen is a Forest River product have you asked this question on their forum? The plumbing may not be the same as a TMC rig.

Well most RVs now-a-days don't have external trap vents, they use Air Admittance Valves (AAV) on a standpipe in the cabinet below the sink. They are notorious for leaking. That's where I'd start.

If you know it is not the black/gray tanks, why look for a vent? Look for the varmint that got locked in there the last pack-up and is now.... ripe!

we had a stink from no where issue years ago
we found the trap for the washer dryer had lost its water and was letting the odors creep in
now, once a month and sometimes after a days drive

i use a tube and funnel and add water to the drain .

i have also found out, that if the grey is FULL FULL and i open the drain valve it will suck the p trap empty under the shower.
the black and grey share a vent and for some reason if one is really full it will cause a momentary suction on the trap.

plus if its been a bouncy highway drive...almost assuredly the traps are empty enough to allow the smell to say HI
