Wiper Arms 2014 Vegas 24.1

I recently changed my wiper blades on my RV and afterwards when they are turned on they actually lift off the winshield when on stroke. I saw a post where these arms could be damaged if rotated outward too far so I purchased a new pair of arms only to have the same effect. I cannot see where I did anything wrong and do not observe any defects in the arms. I took my old arms and bent them to make them stay in contact with the glass. Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

What was the brand of the replacement? I can't see how the blade could cause the lift.

Some clear closeup pictures showing the problem might help the analysis. If you have never done that try:

save the .jpg picture(s) into a file on your computer and then attach to your forum response with the paper clip icon; browse to the jpeg file(s) you just saved and click upload for each one. Then post your reply.

Your right and neither did I. If you look at the wiper arm with blade installed it looks perfect until it goes into motion. About two inches up it begins to lift off the glass about 3/4". I have been all around those things and it simply baffles me as why they do it. It is like they lose their pressure against the glass. I will take pictures today after work and post. Wiper arms and blades are from factory (not warrantied either)
