Works in NM heat Bugsplatter N All 4oz. Concentrate

Drove from MT to NM 14 days ago.
Massive bug juice on MH.
Yesterday decided to clean & nervous because guts were baked on in 80+ degrees for days.
So good test.
Sprayed it on and it dried in 5 minutes due to 82 degrees.
Used white cloth and sprayed as I wiped and ALL BUGS GONE.

WOW

They sure don't work on grasshoppers or Midwest bugs

The special bug sponge comes the closest without chemicals

https://www.procelle.com/collections/prosol-works

Link above is the parent company. I have seen this in fairs many years ago but never bought any

Reading the SDS and other info it appears to be very close to spray on Dawn that DW uses in the kitchen

Going to swipe her sprayer and try the Dawn and see how that works

Glad it worked for you Scuba

I still have found nothing but hard scrubbing that takes off Grasshoppers. I bought two bottles of the Armor All bug remover last year and it was a total waste

I will report after trying the Dawn spray

A good coat of wax and after trip wash works everywhere. No special products required.

I80 Truck Wash works every time

I just use Blue Coral wash concentrate and a soft brush. The Hurricane comes pretty clean with a nice shine.

I still stand by using water, a soft cloth, and baking soda.
Get the baking soda damp on the wet towel, then wipe away with little effort.

Has anyone gotten a good splattering of grasshoppers to the point you had to stop and wash the windshield?

Late summer when they are 3 inches long?

Plug up your radiator type bugs? We always ran bug screens so you could wash them and not have to pull inner coolers or radiators

That is what gives me fits, not a few little night bugs or field bugs

Lived in Florida so know about love bugs which are bad but not as bad as Grasshoppers

I can wipe off topical bug splattering with a good bug sponge and mild detergent

I have tried other enzyme surfactant mixes but not Scubas yet

Never heard of this product until now.
We will try it as bug season and 100 + is soon coming.

Thanks for the post

You are a brave man to take your RV through a truck wash.

I wonder if keeping a REALLY good coat of wax on the RV... especially the front would help, in addition to enzyme cleaners as needed? Of course, the grasshoppers in the radiator are another problem!

My plan for this season is a solid wax coat... including keeping some sort of glass wax on the windshield. I have used Rain-X in the past, but some of the ceramic sprays are promising. Hopefully the nastys will wash off easier, but try Scubi's magic potion on the tough stuff.

Anybody ever had bugs on their windshield and then go through a rain storm or shower where wiper were used? What happens... for me my windshield (wiper area) is clean as ever. Heck I only used my windshield washer fluid when it is not enough rain, just to clean the smears.

I have problems with bugs after or during every trip. But I never had situation where bug removal was difficult to me, just a pain because they were there.

To get rid of, I use my normal wash & wax concentrate and let sit for about a minute in cool hopefully shaded area and take my brush and within 5 minutes just rinse I and I am done. Having said that, I feel that 99.9% of all these products and solutions will work. They all require elbow grease, (except the truck wash method and the rain w/wiper solution).

I try to minimize the stuff you have to buy. However, I do use Rain X glass repellant every so often when at home, but it is mainly to improve visibility when raining. I also have Detailers Spray cleaner / wax for any area that may need to be cleaned as a one off without having to wash the entire front or RV.

Blacks Streaks are a different matter, if you cannot maintain the cleanliness of your roof, you may have no choice but for a product like this? If my roof is not cleaned, I will not waste my time washing my RV. Short of Dust & Bugs, my RV only gets dirty from driving in the rain or the soot from generator exhaust on the rear of the RV.

I am kind of with you, we should have Bug Cleaning Contest, who can clean it the fastest, with the least effort, and lowest costs.

I don't use baking soda but I do foam spray the entire front with cannon sprayer which takes 30 seconds. Wait a minute and take my telescopic RV brush starting at top working my way down. 3 minutes later I am done; so I just rinse. If I missed a spot I may brush back over it. Easy peasey.

Some solvent based cleaners might strip wax off... exacerbating the problem. Would be a good test.
