I think its a matter of finding anyone out there to do the easiest repair. Those days are far gone. If you can't fix it yourself, good luck with that...I've been chasing a tire leak problem for over a yr. No one seems to be able to diagnosis and fix

uhhhh....
hate to tell you....but Thor bought Tiffin a couple years ago.
I had long imagined that an upgrade to a Tiffin might be considered when we eventually upgrade....but those thoughts were squashed a couple years ago. Per your report, maybe there's hope that the poor quality from their lower level brands doesn't trickle up....

Or
Thor doesn't build ac at all.
I hate Chevy because of fram air filters.
Your post is why most of us don't take many thor complaints seriously.

in harleyc's defense...
when I read that bit about the AC I will admit to having similar blow-it off thoughts......Thor just buys the thing..... yeah sure....
but at the same time
the AC "not working"...in the case of mine anyway.... has a lot to do with it being an undersized unit on an under insulated box with a poorly designed and implemented duct system.....
so yeah, Thor pretty much owns the problems

Yes. I think you nailed the issue. One standard air conditioner to cool a box that is poorly insulated in the first place is the point. It is kind of like a two story, slapped together tract house in the heat of SoCal, with 2x4 walls, standard, builder grade air conditioning system.... it will kind of work but stand by for a HUGE So. Ca. Edison bill each month....

That seems strange. As scuba posted Discount Tire will find and fix a slow leak or flat for free. I've done it many times.

I support Discount Tire because I've seen the desk guys and managers bust a tire when they get a little behind.
I have seen twice at two different stores, a manager grant a tire or tires to some crying mom without money. If I've seen it twice 300 miles apart I have to wonder how often it happens.
I like that some dumb kid who catches a felony for a stupid reason can bust tires like he means it and eventually run a store.
I'm 100% meritocracy(and just a bit nepotism. Nepotism done right makes for some VERY uncomfortable Thanksgiving dinners. Man, the boss telling your mom you're a flake must reallly hurt. Pass the potatoes)

There is a reason they call it Discount.... Never forget when I took our new Volvo to Discount Tire for a screw in the tread. They "patched" it by doing the usual grinding down of the inside rubber and putting on a patch. It did not fix the leak and they told me to take it to Goodyear where the tires were made. Goodyear told me that the tires were high speed radials and could not be patched but they could be properly plugged. They told me the tires were ruined and there was nothing they could do for me. Last time I ever went to Discount Tire. I would try to find a "real" RV tire repair/install shop who is specializing in RVs.

I have always had good luck with discount. Of course I don’t buy cheap tires.
As far as the AC, really I don’t get the whole compaint about one AC. Yes in the Deep South with the humidity I totally get it’s. But out west our single unit holds up to 100 degree heat no problem. Besides you can always use fans. The one AC isn’t just a Thor issue. In the class C very few have two AC units.

Due to sparse wording we don't know if the a.c. is malfunctioning or just inadequate.
Inadequate is $1,300ish and a 15amp plug away from having two ac units.
I believe in buying happy if happy is for sale.
If happy is not for sale, make some.
Happy works fifth and main except Wednesday when she's at bible study.

Ah, but Thor Motor Coach doesn’t have their fingers in the Tiffin or Jayco pies.

I have never been at 5th and Main!!!!!
Yes, I would buy another Thor. Some poorly assembled bits and pieces but overall it seems that our Axis will make it for a few years down the road.
Also agree that some of the chosen assemblies may not be top shelf but everything is replaceable.

Yes. After 6 years, 44,000 miles with current Vegas I would. It has met requirements/expectations. What more could I ask for? It drives fine, does not eat tires or oil. It tows much better than old SUV did. Everything still works as needed.
All issues have been wear out type. I fix myself. The cheapo stereo and TVs still work. The 7 year old batteries are now in boat.
For entry level machine, I think it may last longer than me.
