If you are talking about supplemental brakes for a toad - the hitch wiring contained all the necessary connections in the 7 wire connector... I would 'assume' (I know) they haven't changed that for 2016.
This will pass power and brake signals to the toad - of course brake system needs to be installed in toad to process that information.
I did need to add a single wire separate from the connector from toad to RV dash for monitor light in the RV. Not all systems may require this. (I use Roadmaster Invisibrake).

Yes, I am talking about the wiring necessary to control the brakes for our toad. We have a Unified Tow Brake kit from US Gear that came installed on the car we bought used. The only part that was not included was the control module that would be installed or carried inside the coach.
We weren't sure if we would need additional wiring between the control module and the rest of the system that is installed in the toad. Hubby was digging around under and inside places in the coach to see if he could find any wiring connections. No luck yet.
