Is 2016 Hurricane/Windsport 27K pre-wired?

Greetings!

A question for the owners of 2016 Hurricane 27K/Windsport 27K owners:

Do you know if the coach comes pre-wired for a supplemental braking system?

I have a 2014 Hurricane...
If you are talking about supplemental brakes for a toad - the hitch wiring contained all the necessary connections in the 7 wire connector... I would 'assume' (I know) they haven't changed that for 2016.

This will pass power and brake signals to the toad - of course brake system needs to be installed in toad to process that information.

I did need to add a single wire separate from the connector from toad to RV dash for monitor light in the RV. Not all systems may require this. (I use Roadmaster Invisibrake).

Hello gmc,

Yes, I am talking about the wiring necessary to control the brakes for our toad. We have a Unified Tow Brake kit from US Gear that came installed on the car we bought used. The only part that was not included was the control module that would be installed or carried inside the coach.

We weren't sure if we would need additional wiring between the control module and the rest of the system that is installed in the toad. Hubby was digging around under and inside places in the coach to see if he could find any wiring connections. No luck yet.

Thanks for the info about the single wire!
