Hitch height.

Yes, it looks like you might. But to know for sure measure, on level ground, the height of the hitch pin hole on your RV hitch and the center of the connector point on the toad. They need to be no more than 3 inches different and level is best. You can buy a high/low adapter in whatever size you need. My own situation is going to require a 10 inch drop!

My vote: Yes. While you want a little bit of a drop from the coach to the toad, your current drop is a bit steep.

While I'm not sure about how much of a drop you need: you should invest ine one...
Measure it up the way Pete said to, and you'll be good to go!

I would suggest a 6” drop. The Roadmaster Dual hitch has 2-4-6-8-10” drops and are rated at 10,000 lbs towing capacity.
I have the dual 2” /6” drop hitch. I use the top 2” for my bike rack.

Roadmaster clamps. Work great no noise. Got them on Amazon. Roadmaster 061 Quiet Hitch

Flat is better.
But
Flat might drag

A hitch with adjustable height is perfect.
But
It might drag.

But
What you're doing now wouldn't stop me from doing it.
Your rv will high-center long before any road crest makes that hitch angle be a problem.
