In Little Rock last weekend 11 people shot, 1 killed, 60 shots fired. If you happen to stop for gas in the wrong area, are blocking the pumps or someones car, and some guy is yelling to get the #%&^ hell out of the way. Trying to explain why your not backing up may
not get thru to the person who you have upset.

Picture what ever scenario you would like. If I'm sitting in a walmart parking lot or the middle of a corn field no problem. I'm disconnecting. I was just wondering if you really needed to could you steer it and avoid damage.

Maybe. Too many variables for a definitive answer for all cases. But in your proposed scenario, who cares about damage?

Sad but true. I told my son a few years ago that if you take an exit and you notice that all the businesses have bars on the windows get back on the highway and try another one on down the road.

Well Darn... I too have a Sonic 2019 and love it for flat towing. However, I have the Invisabrake system and only have to flip a toggle on the dash... Not fuse pulling! The system I've had in the past did require a bunch of work under the hood... Ugh! Like this system a lot better!

Well the brake system really has nothing to do with the fuse pulling. It is to prevent your battery being discharged by leaving the key in the ACC position. With the DLIS fuse pulled the BCM removes power to all accessories after 10 minutes even with the key left in the ACC position. But it also removes the key removal/Park position interlock; so with the DLIS fuse pulled you can leave the transmission in neutral and turn the key off and remove it (no steering wheel lock on the Sonic).

Mankind hasn't changed since the caveman days. Go on and live life unafraid. In an emergency, back that toad up.
