Centerline of baseplate connections on my Colorado are 25” above ground. The center of tow hotch on my Palazzo is 15”. Had to get the 10” riser for the tow bar.

So you just ignore the procedure in your owners manual to disconnect the battery (step 6)?

Our Patriot III brake system also requires battery power which we get from the disconnected vehicle battery. It's part of the remote disconnect kit I installed. Disconnects/reconnects the vehicle battery at the push of a button and supplies 12 VDC to the brake system receptacle.

I do recognize the benefits of towing a truck but we have being towing our Buick Envision for 2 1/2 years now and can't be happier.
You just need to put the transmission in N, make sure the parking brake is off and turn off a switch which disconnect two fuses and it is ready to go.
I have the invisibrake system so nothing to do ref. breaking...

Currently I can hitch the car and have it ready to go in less than 5 minutes.

We tow our 2013 CRV and use a break buddy. I added a fuse extension and pop the fuse out. Then connect the break buddy to a AGM battery/car starter/light/air pump. The Honda's small battery does not have enough energy even to keep the dash up for eight hours let alone power the break buddy.
