Battery disconnect

Do I need a battery disconnect to flat tow my 2004 Jeep? I’m having the Ready Brute Elite system installed but don’t know if this is something that would be required.
I know you can pull fuses but prefer not to go that route!

Your owners manual will tell you if battery disconnect is required.
My 2010 said yes.
The dealer that installed the Invisibrake said I didn't need to disconnect the battery... I'm following the owners manual.

I did need to put the disconnect on the positive side - as the Invisibrake was counting on a chassis ground.

I tow a 2004 Jeep Liberty. My Demco Stay-In-Play Duo braking system requires battery power to operate. It says nothing in the Jeep owners manual about disconnecting the battery.
I did install an RVI Towed Battery Charger so I’m keeping the battery charged from the motorhome while driving.

My owners manual doesn’t mention anything about a battery disconnect so maybe it won’t be necessary!
