Flat Towing VW

Anybody have experience flat towing a VW bug or dune buggy without brakes? My 30 foot ACE has the engine power but concerned about braking power. 1800 lbs towing may be concern. Wonder how many people are doing the same, no brakes on towed vehicle. Using a straight tow bar as well. Concerned with turning. Any suggestions will be great

I don't know what you mean by "straight tow bar" but any tow bar should not inhibit any turning.
