a garage trailer? (go easy on me)

im asking because i dont know what to call it if it even exists at all.

got my idea form this thread: http://www.thorforums.com/forums/f17...age-13621.html

i am curious if there is like a non-toy toy hauler trailer out there. small (maybe 10-12 feet or less.) something that is just the garage part of a toy hauler with out the live-able space. AKA no toilet or bed or kitchen. not even that drop-down bed in the garage part. something you could (being generous here) could put a mid-sized car in and still have a workbench on the hitch end.

i was thinking a plain empty enclosed trailer would do it but i dont want to have to build in a gas tank/pump (for example) like some toy haulers have or the workbench, work lights etc.

just a mobile garage. i already got my house (31E) now i'd like a detached (no pun intended) garage i can take with me. it would be great for my other hobies like my 1/5th scale and could house the toad in it.

Something like this:
https://www.toolsofthetrade.net/truc...ble-woodshop_o

From what I can see for a "workshop trailer" the least expensive route would be to buy a cargo trailer and build something in. Or go for broke and get one of these:
Mobile Workshops | Workshop Trailers | Advantage Trailers

As with all trailers; you still have to watch the weight.

Cargo trailer:

Here you go, how to make one:
https://www.instructables.com/id/Por...iler-Workshop/

Edit: May have to go a little bigger than that 6 x 14 one--for some reason I didn't think you wanted to put a car in.

Would have to be a small lightweight car.

There's actually a whole bunch of trailers designed to do exactly what you're saying.
There was a fella who (I think!) went by the name of "JD Trailers". If you can find him: he built them with fuel tanks already in place!
Happy hunting, and the best of luck to you!

towing a trailer capacity

A few observations:
The average midsize car is approx 15' long and 6' wide and wouldn't fit in a 12' trailer
also the typical enclosed 12' trailer is only 6' wide, very skin tight fit.
The typical weight of a 6x12' enclosed trailer is about 1100 pounds
a 7'x16' enclosed trailer weighs approx 2200 pounds and the typical weight of a mid size car is 3000 pounds, total weight would be 5200 pounds with out any extra gear or bench as you wished.

Your Motorhome model 31e is rated to tow 8000 pounds, but the tongue weight is limited to 500 pounds. The trailer with car and gear would exceed your capacity to tow it.

I assumed that the Toad he was referring to; was his 1/5th scale stuff...
But he does mention a car a bit earlier...
You could put a sub-compact on a 12' trailer easily: if you choose the right one!

i just like throwing bait and watching bob and others fight over it.

i just looked it up and my Prius is 15.2' long, longer that i thought. maybe get a small 10' trailer with a ATV and or golf kart in it for a toad. (not my 1/5th scale lol)

i want to tow a toad so i got transportation once i park in the campground. i am just trying to figure out what i can and cant do. i would love a small garage so i can work on repairs or other stuff. thanks for helping out

Hate to say this but: You should have went with a toy hauler. Then you'd have the garage in the coach but still could pull a toad on a dolly or 4 down.
