2017 FordC-Max 12v Line

Does anyone know where to get an always on 12v line in a 2017 Ford C-Max Energi? I thought the one by the shifter was an always on, but it turns out that it turns off after about a 1/2 hour. Need an always on for my Patriot Braking System.

Could you use the charge line coming from the RV? In that case you wouldn't be draining the tiny 12V battery on the C-Max (which is "in the trunk").

You could also tie it to the jumper post under the hood.

The unit has a cigarette lighter type plug for power. Was hoping to not have to modify it. Already have a battery charger/tender installed. Guess I will have to do some experimenting. Was hoping someone else had this setup and could answer.
