Kar Kaddy SS-Prius

Hi. I have a 2012 Prius. Has any towed this vehicle with the Kar Kaddy SS tow trailer , with two front wheels on the trailer, If so how did it go and recommendations.

Fellow beside us awhile back was doing just that. Said clearance was an issue and there were marks on the car and significant scraping on the dolly indicating the clearance issue is for real. Dips seemed to be the primary concern.

I towed a Gen2 Prius (06-09) on a Demco Car Caddy.
There was a definite lower chassis/body clearance issue.
I used 2”x 6” stacked blocks to create a ramp under the dolly ramps (to minimize the incline).
Also, I had to place a 2” x 6” block in the well of the dolly where the front wheels sit.
Otherwise the underside would scrape & get damaged.

Once I figured it out, worked fine for many trips.

P.S. I’ve since switched to a 4 wheel down toad

Prius has very low ground clearance and can be an issue. We've damaged the front lower fascia towing ours. We also have a Prius C and it (unexpectedly) has more ground clearance and hasn't been an issue.
