Locking pins for hitch and tow bar

Having just become a member of the catalytic converter theft club, and just finally getting my tow set up put together, I'm now starting to wonder about what other pieces might go wandering from my rig. Anybody out there have any recommendations for locking hitch pins, and/or best practices for securing your tow equipment? I've got a Ready Brute Elite II and Roadmaster connectors that I'd rather not see disappear.

Locks for the 5/8 drawbar pins are common but not for the little pins. Some use small locks but I prefer a good snap pin.

If they need it more than you, it will disappear... was your cat. not welded on and it disappeared...? Hitch pins can also be cut off. So take it home or lock it in the toad trunk/back seat or where ever you feel is the safest.

We had our aluminum drop hitch stolen in the UP at a nice campground.
It had the 5/8 lock pins and still not sure how they got it, but they did.
If in question store it away.
We still leave our stuff locked on the coach, but we are normally at nice places.
Boondocking, we store everything away.

Lost a receiver hitch at a public auction once. After that I used a grade 8 5/8" NF bolt with a grade 8 locking nut with permeant Loctite. Torqued at around 225 pounds. This was on a truck that the hitch stayed on, and it stayed. At around 200 bucks each back then you really didn't want to give them away

I use a lock on my tow bar pin on the Tuscany and so far, no one has bothered it. I take it off when storing in the shop otherwise would bolt it on. The locks are relatively easy to remove if a thief is so inclined.
