new 2022 F150 King Ranch 4x4 future toad

Saturday we traded off the 2021 F250 4x4 to a slightly smaller, closer to the ground f150 4x4 King Ranch
we just didnt have the need for the big super duty anymore.
7300 miles on her

now to get the plates on order

funny thing is the $$ they gave me for the super duty was more than i paid for her last april. which was great and we got the 150 under x plan. nobody was doing x plan around here, but this mom and pop small dealer raised their hand

didnt drive it much ,

wife is happy so that's the whole enchilada

she never drove the 250, and it was getting harder for her to climb into.

I sold my F350 because DW couldn't get in

Wish i had ordered the retractable running boards

They were standard on my F150 package

My F350 had 97k, it got ran down the road

I have had right at 50 Ford pickup trucks over the years, only two GM

They are hard to beat

i had run that thought, it had running boards but they were a bit high
i looked at amp research steps, BUT man they are pricey. and still DW was just not happy with the f250
liked the ride and room, she smokes and i don't so she didn't smoke in truck so long trips she got jittery

even though i provided a nice ashtray and window vents
i think it was a combo of lots of little issues, its was so big, tall, hard to get in bed even with step, she is happy now so that makes up for everything

I sure like my KR and have 90k on it, and really nothing i would change

Not a single problem

The only tiny issue is the same as my others, the tailgate step doesn't pop out easily when you push the button

It is a 2017 and currently trying to decide if i should keep it or trade

Trucks here with 150k still sell well

I don't even notice it behind the Tuscany

We like our kr.
2011 and 106k miles.
It has one of those color matched tip up hard bed covers and a bed carpet kit.
Ours has a winch of considerable size hidden behind the bumper. A license plate hides the fairlead. I've used it twice, but not for me.
The kr had some wild electrical ghosts and was pssing us off.
I changed to an oddesey battery and they all went away.

It has an odd (to me) bit of a problem.
If the temperature here reaches below freezing, the weep hole on the water pump will weep about an ounce of antifreeze if the truck is parked overnight. No freeze or the truck is running, no leak.
It's been that way for 6+ years.

I'm not making it a problem so it's not a problem.
