My 2 door Jeep tows just as good as our 4 door Jeep. I watch in the camera and there is no side to side movement on either Jeep. I prefer to tow the 2 door as it is lighter but no issues towing either one 4 down.

Wyn how much does your tow bar drop from the motorhome hitch to the attachment point on your Jeep?
It needs to be no more than 3".
Howdy,
No Death Wobble so far
I was very intune to the Toad back there the entire ride
I'm thinking if there was going to be a death wobble, it would have happened

I have started a new thread if you are interested in my setup

Thank you

The waggling around is minimal and probably couldn't be seen on a small monitor. It isn't enough to cause any issues, I'm sure. It's just a constant thing I see with most Jeeps...they catch a lot of wind as they are not aerodynamic. I didn't mean my comments as a negative.

I am using a Ready Brake and Demco Commander towbar setup.

Added a 2-1/2" spacer to lower the receiver hitch. Not a fan of drop hitches so this seemed like a better solution.

So I have been following all the comments with your situation Wyn. I talked to a friend who actually transitioned from hauling his toad (F-150) on a trailer to flat towing because of severe handling problems. I would suggest you get some input from a "very wise" RV service center on the issues you have before you pull triggers. Here on this side of the continent, the vast majority of toads are Jeep Wranglers and most likely for positive reasons. What I am saying is that I would make sure your handling issues with your RV itself are addressed before concluding that hauling the Jeep is the culprit. It may be, I am just throwing this out, as simple as having a Trac Bar installed on your rear differential. Let us know what you finally do. Good luck.

We have a 2012 Hurricane 32A and tow a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the Blue OX system. Works great, no wobble and can see it well in the rear camera.
