Ready Brake with other towbars

First happy New year everyone and safe travels. Also thanks to everyone for excellent information and help to a newbie. Looking into a 2019 Ranger 4wd toad and will need towbar system. For supplemental braking, i'm leaning towards a permanent system and the Ready Brake seems like a low tech option I probably could install. However I like some other brand towbars, anyone done this? Any other issues with the Ready Brake I need to know? Thanks.

I have the Ready Brute Elite system. Its great. Was fairly easy to install by myself but if you have a helper it would be help. Ive got close to 20000 miles on mine with no problems at all.

I also used the led light that comes with the kit but attached it to the jeeps brakes, not the ready brute, to the dash of the mh so I know when the jeeps brakes are being applied. Attaching to the ready brute only tells you when it working. If something happens and the vehicle brakes get suck at least youll know it

I use the ReadyBrake with a Blue Ox towbar. No issues with it. ReadyBrake cable(s) install is fairly straightforward. If you go with it... don't forget the break away device. It is a separate purchase.
