Dumb Question, why would you want to buy a Patriot 3 for approx 1200.00 when you can get an InvisiBrake for approx 875.00 (Amazon pricing)? The difference in price will pay for the installation and then you won't have to worry about setup or tear down every trip.

We used to have two vehicles set up for towing so we could move the Patriot between them.

For years I used a U.S. gear brake system. It was wired so simply plugging in the umbilical was all that was necessary to activate it. Worked flawlessly for years. Had it transferred from a DP to the Gemini, works well there too. Not sure that system is still available, but I'm sure there are similar that are.
