Bike rack for Chevy Spark Toad

I’m looking for a bike rack to put on my Spark’s hatchback It doesn’t have (or allow) towing so I can’t use a hitch mount. I also want to use it when I leave the RV at home.

I’ve seen several mounts that say they’ll fit the Spark, but all pictures show different cars.

I’ve seen a bunch of threads about ebikes. Mine is just a regular old peddler.

I’m hoping that someone on this forum has a Spark and a rack.

Here’s one that I’m thinking about. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

What year is your Spark? Your ad says it may not be compatible with some cars having a spoiler on the top of the hatchback. My 2017 has a lip of sorts that might interfere with tightening the straps.

It’s a 2021 Spark. I’ll have to check to see if it has a lip.

I have a ‘20 Spark Activ
It has “roof rails”
So I was able to purchase inexpensive cross bars to attach to the rails

One option for you is to permanently install roof “channels” front to back on each side of the Spark roof.
Those would allow you to add crossbars that slide within the channel tracks.

Here’s one option on Amazon, although crossbars might need to be modified to fit width:

Here’s my set-up. But haven’t used a bike rack…

Here's a trailer hitch for your Spark:

https://www.etrailer.com/Trailer-Hit...leID=202045062

Opens up a whole variety of bike rack options.

I put one on my 2005 Scion Xb that wasn't rated for towing.

I put one on my 2016 Sonic that wasn't rated for towing.

Both pulled a 4' x 8' utility trailer easily and held a 2-bike rack with bikes when needed.

Good idea.
I think I’ll add one to mine.
