I have the same system. When you hook everything up between the motor home and towed vehicle, turn on the left turn signal in the motor home with the engine running. Go to that controller and turn it to the on position. You then unscrew the black knob slightly so that you can push it up/down easily. Push it down far enough to activate your towed vehicle's brakes. You will hear the system activate/pump air to the brake pedal. Stop there and push the black knob up another 1/8 inch. Stop there and tighten the black knob by turning it clockwise to lock it into position. You have now set the position that the Demco System will operate your towed vehicle brakes. You can go online and see how to set the proper brake adjustment if you are confused. Your installing dealership should have told you how to set it up before you left.

Thanks Paul.

We actually did go through similar steps checking turn signals and brakes and the adjustment set by the tech seemed to be fine.

I also watched a Demco video explaining the system. Of course it worked like a charm.

What my issue is now is that the Coachlink display plugged into the 12v port on the dash was showing a green light for power and now it is not. When we left the dealer the red stop light indicators would activate and now they are not.

I called Demco and they said it is most unusual for a monitor to be bad out of the box, but not impossible.

I called Dealer and the tech there said to play with the sensitivity knob to adjust the braking pressure that Stop n Play reacts to by applying the braking pedal in the Jeep BUT I don't see how that effects the monitor which is a wireless system.

I guess I will be going back to the dealer thankfully only 10 miles out.

When I did go back to the Dealer today for the 2nd time the tech pulled the breakaway cable and the system activated and lights on the monitor came on.

A head scratcher!

I don't have the monitor in my system so I can't suggest how to work it. I do like the system and have been using since last year. It works great. We leave this Saturday for a 1200 mile trip to Utah and back.

An issue has developed securing the Coachlink transmitter by Demco inside the 2022 Jeep Trailhawk.

It does not screw into an area under the dash. Demco provided a 2 sided tape material that failed to keep it in place after 4 days. See photo images.

I am now using Command Center 2 sided tape to see it that works.

Problem seems to be Florida heat as Temps inside a vehicle can rise to 90 to 100 degrees and we just had a few of those days.

Does anyone have any thoughts on an appropriate 2 sided tape material that can affix plastic to plastic and be resistant to heat?

Demco said to try zip ties but there are no points to secure it to.Click image for larger version

It ain't even summer yet. Temps inside a vehicle can approach 130 degrees. A dark dashboard, steering wheel or seat can often reach temperature ranges of 180 - 200 degrees.

I always use 3M tape primer and never have had a problem.
