Toad 2017 Mini Cooper Clubman

Hi I have a 2017 Mini Cooper Clubman that has an automatic parking brake. Is anyone toading a late model mini with an auto parking brake? Need to know how to disable it.

You have contacted the auto dealer correct? Have you Googled it?

I have googled just haven't spoken with the dealer yet. Guess I need to give them a call.

Did you look in your owners manual?

The manual didn't mention anything about disabling the brake. It comes on automatically when you walk away with the key fob. I'm thinking that putting the car in neutral and leaving the key fob in the car may be the way to keep the bake off. I was hoping someone was toading one and could confirm my theory.

May be why the manufacturer doesn't endorse flat towing the vehicle.

Could be as simple as pulling a fuse, or installing something like this.
