Hi, I have a 2018 Thor Aria 3901 I am trying to find the trailer brake connector under the dash. Has anybody had any luck finding it! Thanks.

I called Thor they said it was under dash. I’m going to try Freightliner next.

I have a 2014 Thor Windsport 34E, I found mine under the dash by the gas and brake pedal. I bought a plug and play cord for Ford for my controller. Look for a plug with blue, red and white wires.Click image for larger version

Hi, I never found anything so I bought a wireless brake controller. It works great and costs about the same.

I’ve got a 2019 Palazzo and spent 5 hours looking for harness. Called rv tech the next day and was told it was 50/50 wether rv had a harness or not. FYI.

2017 Thor Aria 3901 Brake Controller Harness Finally Located

After several hours of searching the dash from below (even used a camera scope), I finally found the brake controller harness on my 2017 Thor Aria 3901 after removing the actual instrument cluster. I was apprehensive about removing the cluster at first, but it was easy to do just by removing the handful of screws located around the bezel of the cluster. The cluster comes out as one piece and I just 'tilted' it forward and found the brake controller harness lodged up behind it (see attached image). Good luck and I hope you find it!

Do you happen to have a picture of where the brake harness goes into the main harness? I was all over my 3401 last night and cant find it anywhere.
Thanks in Advance!

My apologies. I don't have a pic of how it integrates into the main dash wire bundle. I was so ecstatic to find the darn thing that I closed it all up and called it a day. Did you find your brake harness connector?

I'm still looking. I'm going to try and tone out the blue brake wire tonight.
I did call Thor for the wiring diagram showing the brake controller harness and they cant find it yet. Hoping they can.

Assuming your dash layout is similar, I have to tell you that the trick for me was to remove the instrument cluster. It was really 'tucked up' behind there. I search for a long time in the harnesses under the dash and almost gave up completely. It was a fluke to find it under the support brace behind the cluster itself. Really not accessible from underneath.

I finally found it tucked way over on the left side of under the dash.
I had to put a toner on the brake control wire at the plug on the rear.
Felt like someone was hiding it on purpose. :-)

2020 Aria 4000 Brake Controller

Hello all.. thanks for your posts as they were helpful to me in finding my brake controller connector. It was located behind the panel along the left side of the driver seat. It is very close to the front of the coach underneath the dash. There is a space where the wire bundles come through to the dash. If you reach in there blindly you will be able to feel a lose connector and pull it out so it is under the dash. It will be labeled. I agree, it is definitely hiding.
