The sticker on the hitch states 5000 LBS
So does this mean that the entire weight of the RV (22E) can be 16000 LBS and still put a load under 5000? Or does it mean that the total weight of the RV (22E) and the pulled load has to be under 16000 LBS?
Which means the pulled load has to be 3700 LBS or less.
Thanks.

And if the hitch has a 5000 lb sticker on it, it does NOT have an 8000 lb rating.
You cold tow something heaviier than 3700 lbs but your RV would have to weigh below its GVWR by the same amount you are over 3700 Lbs. Also, don't forget that the trailer tongue weight adds to the RV gross weight.
