Tow Infiniti

Anyone tow an Infinit QX60? I have read because of the CVT Trans you have to dolly. Thought about a flat car trailer and just tow it on trailer. thoughts??

I haven't seen a CVT yet that was flat towable. That's why the popular Honda CRV was no longer flat towable starting with the 2015 model year. So you will need either a dolly or trailer as you suspected. Obviously, the trailer will weigh more which may put your total towed weight too high depending on your other numbers.

As stated, dolly or trailer required...
Trailer is typically more cost, more weight (both total and tongue), larger to store at home and campsite...
But offers less wear on car (no tires on ground), and ability to back up (based on the capabilities of the driver... the equipment will handle it)

Dolly is cheaper, less weight (overall and very little tongue weight), can often slip most of it under the MH for storage.
On the 'but' side - rear tires accumulate mileage, cannot backup without disconnecting toad (if you try - we want to see video...)

Both cases require strapping/safety chains for vehicle and connection of dolly/trailer to RV - both dolly/trailer should have brakes.

Neither choice is right/wrong - just what works for you.
