Mine just refuses...
About 38 years ago; I tried to reach her.
It didn't go well at all!

If it helps, we tow a full size Honda Accord on our tow dolly with no problem with the 24FE.

I was expecting to read she left you on the side of the road.

No brakes necessary due to light-weight.
It’s a winner for us.

What engine is in your RV? Also, since your receiver is busy with the Chevy, what kind of bike rack are you using? You have the same rear bumper as mine, so no bumper attached installations.

With the Acme Tow Dolly are you towing 4 down?

Towing four-down negates the need for a tow-dolly.

I guess I'm not familiar with tow dollies. Is the advantage of a tow dolly that you can tow a wider range of vehicles, those that are not suited to be toads?

I have to guess the towed is not towable 4-down, particularly front wheel drive automatics. It can't be convenience by the time you get done with straps and everything, though it may be easier for folks than messing with a heavy tow bar. I prefer 4-down but the tow bar gets heavier every time I disconnect and stow it. Some people may not be able to deal with it. There may be a range of reasons and not simply 1 you can put your finger on.

Some vehicles simply cannot be towed four-down. The tow-dolly often can allow you to work around these towing limitations.

E450 - V10
Bike rack was a cheap Amazon special. IIRC, under $80
See photos with the hi/lo dual receiver, also purchased on Amazon for under $35

I’ve done both. The tow Bar does get heavier every year. My dislike of a dolly is that you have to do something with it. Many parks will not let you store it on pad with MH. And some parks do not have pull through sites which causes another challenge . I prefer the flat tow but it does limit your choice of vehicles.

We put our Toad on it's throne, and just pay for the pull-through sites.

The Sonic Hatchback is a breeze to hookup with Falcon 2 hitch and especially to store so many items in with back seat flat.
We have the 5 speed, fun to drive and gets 38mpg . It’s lightweight doesn’t require braking system...
We bought a 2 bike rack from E-trailer to haul our bikes on ... all works great
