Gaser that can tow 4 down 6000lbs ?

We are at the research stage and prefer to buy a Class A that can tow our 2012 Ford King Ranch. It's weight curbside is under 6000 Lbs. I know it's no problem for most diesels. Any faders that can handle this? Any experience towing a Supercrew can F150? Really don't want to change vehicles unless we have to.

After looking at both GVWR and GCVW on my 2016 e450 Vegas, I would not hesitate to tow 7,500 4 down behind it. My 5500 lb open racecar trailer is not noticable behind it at all.

The Vegas weighs around 13000 full of everything we need for us/track. I did have to adjust tongue weight to accomodate the 500 lb max tongue on my 8000 lb hitch. Even at that, it tracks fine. I run LT tires on trailer and can run 75 MPH with ease. 4.56 gears and 16" tires it seems to loose .5 MPG or less on road. This is the 2 valve version of the V-10 with 6 speed.

My 2014 Challenger has a hitch rated at 5,000 max. Newer Thors have same looking hitch but they are rated/stamped for 8,000. During factory tour they couldn't really explain difference. Since then I have heard Thor's hitch supplier simply stopped making 5,000 pound hitches and began sending them all 8,000 pound ones.

The V-10 and most of the trannies in these Class A's and C's could probably always handle 8,000. Now just a difference in what your tongue weight would be.

If you go by 2017 Ford towing specs for the larger Class As built on F53 chassis, it can be seen that much will depend on how loaded down the motorhome is relative to Gross Vehicle Weight Rating, and also on which chassis rating the MH is built on.

Notice Gross Combined Weight Rating varies with GVWR. This is likely due to different final axle ratios which affects GCWR and thus tow rating.

These trailer weights are based on a motorhome that is loaded to maximum GVWR, so I assume they are not true maximums if motorhome was nearly empty, as an example.

Can a F150 be flat towed?

Its all about GCVW. Weight the RV loaded, add the truck and see if you are under the GCVW rating. I doubt you will notice much of a difference in driving. I know my Class C towing my 7,000lb boat is not a whole lot different then without.
