Renting or bringing another vehicle is a royal PITA! I towed and launched my 18’ Reinell with a bunk trailer numerous times with my 30.1. The ONLY problem I ever had was a ramp at lake Havasu where I didn’t have enough room to get everything turned around. Other than making sure you have enough turning radius the only problem your likely to have is forgetting the boat is behind you. PS You know they make hitches that you can very easily change the tongue height.

I’ve had the front bumper hitch on another coach, wouldn’t do it again. With the rear camera launching is a breeze.

Did you have to "drag your tail in the water"; or is that more dependent on the launch?

longer tongue

Maybe the easiest thing would be to add to your tongue length. That would keep the MH tire on the clean surface. My biggest concern is ground clearance over the hump from parking to ramp
Good luck

Totally dependent on the ramp but I have had to put the tail in the water but never over the underbelly of the Coach itself. Think about a boat ramp and what would be involved with a front mount hitch. Now imagine yourself at the ramp just getting yourself unhooked and turned around....

Well there is alot to think about when towing and launching the boat.
I'm going to do a few local runs to several lakes and see what it's like with the coach and go from there with decisions.
I know hell or high water come April I'm going fishing.
See ya all in the eastern Sierras

I have a 5 inch reversible already. I might look into a deeper drop due to the rear height of my THOR.
Hope to see you on the lake.
Havasu is only 2 hours from home I believe I know the ramp your talking about. Havasu resort has a nice private protected ramp and it's only 15 buck.

Funny story, sad but true:

Years ago I was at the lake relaxing on the porch of a boathouse which was next to a natural rock boat launching area. Elderly man pulled his MH (a 35 foot class A) around, backed his trailer in the water then got out to go and get his bass boat from a nearby dock. The man got his boat on the trailer, tilted up his motor, then went to the bow and hooked up the winch strap and tightened it. With his boat secure on the trailer and him kneeling on the bow he yelled to his wife to go ahead and pull forward.

The wife proceeded to put the MH in gear and back up, needless to say things got really bad at this point!!! The man was lucky he had a fish fillet knife laying on the bow and while screaming at his wife he managed to cut the winch rope. The wife backed the MH far enough in the water that the engine died. I jumped up and ran over to help along with several other people. It took two full sized pickups in 4wd to pull the MH out of the water, didn’t think the water was ever going to quit draining from inside the MH. Generator had been completely submerged, water had been over the bed and part way up the bedroom windows, HUGE mess on the inside.

I have never in my life heard a wife get cussed like this poor woman was, I felt very sorry for her!!!

I think that fella would have been better off to just bite his lower lip until he tasted blood, and not have said anything to the poor Lady...

The biggest surprise, as state above, is the available radius at the ramp...of which most are very tight. With a 37' MH and a 32' OAL boat/trailer I would need an airport to get turned round.

I don't think a motorized Whiting Turntables would make a difference if the wife backs it into the water, lol.
Only good thing the train could pull the rig out of the water.
On a serious note turning space is always a concern when towing.
