I've seen mounts that use a pair of 2" receivers.
That would make for a more stable setup!
Granted: the original hitch has to be removed...

This is my solution Harmsy. The bike is a Kawasaki Z125 Pro and weighs 225 lbs. Fully street legal with a top speed of 65 to 70. Cruises best at 55. Not something you would buy for your ten year old grandson.

I wanted a rack for the Vegas that I would never have to worry about the strength or durability, so in this situation, I went with over-kill. It's rated at
600 lbs and guys claim to haul Harley Sportsters. (500 lbs+). The ramp is nearly as long as the carry deck, and at 17 inches hitch heigth, loading/unloading is a breeze. Put the bike in low gear, throttle a little above idle, and let it walk itself up.

Bought it off Amazon ($200). On a two hundred mile trip this past weekend, after the initial tie-down, never had to adjust the straps again. I HIGHLY recommend that you get the rattle collar that goes on the hitch and receiver, at the same time. ($10.00 Amazon). You want that connection to be dead solid.
