Towing a truck

Iím towing a Chevy Equinox right now, it weighs about 3700 pounds. My hitch is rated 8000pounds. My tow bar is rated 6000 pounds. Iím thinking about trading for a Ford F-150. Anyone else towing a F150? Any problems?

We tow a Jeep Cherokee mfgr listed curb weight is 4200 lbs. We have a 6000 lb rated tow bar and a 8000 lb hitch. The weight of your loaded RV + weight of toad should not exceed the GVCWR. I would check into the weight of the F-150 you intend to tow and do the math based on the weights allowed on the vehicle you plan to tow with. Best is to get the coach weighed fully loaded and base what you tow from there.
