class c and flat tow for handicapped

A disabled person currently has a handicap accessible van but would like to find a class C plus a vehicle that they can flat tow behind. Can anyone here give me some insight into ADA compliance class Cs and suggested tow vehicles?

Manually working a towed hitch/ bar requires quite a bit of mobility in tight places.
I highly highly suggest they go and MASTER, in all possible scenario, some nice persons towed hook up in some RV park near by.
If they can't...don't.

Budget for c class and towed is going to be $200,000+.

There are chair compliant(you haven't stated the handicap) class A vehicles that make far more sense.

A flip down hitch mount chair lift/rack mounted in front of a widened man door on a c class is a good way to preserve floor space.

Buy something used and already set up.
Don't be picky.

I'd have a discussion about why they picked a class C. If the budget is sizeable, there's lots of options.

Again... don't know the extent of the handicap, but a class C, class A option generally requires a dizzying amount of upkeep and maintenance... think "boat".

Is there a reason a LARGE class B is not an option? They do lack the space of an A or C, but can be highly modified from scratch. Space can be allocated where needed.

They don't exist unless custom modified. Think "short bus" with loading ramps. I agree we won't be much help without knowing the person's limitations and needs.

The June issue of FMCA's magazine "Family RVing" has an article about accessible RVs. It mentions www.handicappedtravelclub.com for information and encouragement to travelers with a wide range of disabilities.

Hope you find what you need.
