Small van or minivan towing

Due to our hobby, we will probably want a fairly large toad to put our RC airplanes in behind the 31W class C. Anyone have input on flat towability of the smaller Chevy Express van? I know the City Express that we (GM) sell is a Nissan with a CVT that can't be flat towed at all. And the idea of a tow dolly sounds like way too much work. Another option would be a pickup with a cap which I see the GM 4WD variants listed in the toad guides.

Haven't seen any of the GM vans in towing guides...
Acadia/Traverse, Tahoe, Suburban/Yukon, or pickup variations seem to be the larger choices...
Some of those may push your combined weight limit...I'd suggest getting your rig weighed loaded for travel to see what you have to work with...

Good point Greg on the GWV. I was only looking at 8K tow capability.

Yeah, your best bet is an older Ranger, or Canyon/Colorado with a cap.

Trouble with Canyon is even the long bed is only 74 inches.

That 8K tow capacity, is probably what the hitch is rated at, but you may only be able to tow significantly less. You need to weigh your coach to be sure you do not go over the GCVW limit when you add your tow vehicle weight. That you do not want to do.
