Hi Ed, this is Lee Alexander. I too have a 2015 Vegas 24.1 and I am also retired military. I joined as an E-1 and retired as a Navy Captain, a Navy Mustang. Your manual has helped me out tremendously and I am about to embark on my first trip of the year and would like to ask for a link to your manual if you would be so kind. My current version only comes up in Google Docs and it is hard to read.

BTW, thank you for your service as well! I spent two glorious years at Lackland as the Commander of the Navy's Master-at-Arms (Military Police), Military Working Dogs MWD) and Joint Corrections training programs and loved every minute of it in San Antonio! What a wonderful, military friendly city!

hi. I took out my sofa immediately after purchase. Open it all the way up and there are 4 bolts holding it the floor. The frame is held to the arm pieces with 2 screws each. It's pretty simple and I was 75 yrs old at the time. Did need help turning the open frame on edge to get out the door.

Hello Ed. DocMike here, just checking in to see how Thor Forum is doing and noticed that your Manual is still a hot number. We sold our Thor Vegas 3 years ago but we are still active with RV'ing, which is why I am sending you this message.
The Ford V-10, used in many makes and models of RV, has a history of making a rattling sound at around 2100RPM (due to harmonic vibrations in the serpentine belt) for many owners. I recently fixed mine on our Nexus Viper 27v Class C.
I posted the fix yesterday there on Thor Forum under Maintenance and Repair, under a thread started by "Laid to the law" on 30Mar20. I am about #48 on the comment roster there. Since the problem is occurring in Thor products and the problem's fix is under $45 if you do it your self, I thought it might be worth noting in your Manual. I've included part numbers (2 parts needed, a bolt and the pulley) and a couple of pictures in my posted repair.

Hi Ed. I just downloaded and printed your EXCELENT manual. I am fitting a 200AH LiFePo battery to my 2015 Axis 24.1 and want to incorporate a Renogy 20A DC to DC charge controller to keep the alternator from frying itself trying to charge a deeply discharged lithium battery. I like the BIRD unit and attendant relays shown in your manual and am reluctant to bypass them entirely. Do you have any suggestions? The Renogy DC2DC controller incorporates an isolation relay of its own to keep from discharging the chassis battery along with the house battery. Any suggestions?

Good morning, have a 2016 Axis 24.1 Chassis battery does not charge on shore power. both chassis and house charge on when engine is running. does charge any help much appreciated.

I believe the monitor panel on my 2016 Vegas 24.1 is shot. Where can I get a replacement?

(2016 Vegas 24.1] The plastic door slide that covers the handles to screen door is cracked. Do you know if it can be replaced?
