From Dreams to Reality

Hi there! We have been been studying and researching RVs for the last two years as we wait for the planets to align so we are both free for unrestricted travel. We were pretty much settled on a 5th wheel, but having to acquire a dually was a problem since we both have late model Ram 1500s (hers is brand new). We walked through an Omni BH35, and everything fell into place. It has what we wanted in a floor plan, and the Powerstroke can easily pull her new 4x4 Ram. One thing I really didn't like was trying to get to the drivers seat from inside the coach. That little box behind the console is a pain and is in a bad spot for my 66 y/o not so athletic body. Somewhere, and I thought it was in this forum, I remember reading where someone tackled that problem and removed the box. Can someone point me to where they have done this? Thanks in advance. And...the planets are about a month away from being in perfect alignment!
