Thor/Sunshine Spring 2018 Mini Rally
 

Let's rally again! Back by popular demand, after a great time last April and again in October.

April 13-15, two nights at Cloverleaf Forest RV Resort in Brooksville, FL. The park has paved pads, an outdoor pool with a Jacuzzi, an indoor pool, and a driving range! The rally rate will be $44.80/night and can be used up to 2 days before and 2 days after.

Do not call the park direct, instead call rally coordinator Kelsey Nelson at 877-350-7619 to make your reservation. She will take a deposit of one night. Please send me a message when you reserve, so I can track the number of rigs.

But wait, it gets better! Cloverleaf Forest is an Encore and a Passport America park. If you have a membership in PA, your rate will be $28/night! Passport, Encore, or rally rate, make your reservation through Kelsey at the number above.

There is no planned entertainment and no registration fee, but there will be plenty of time to get acquainted and visit with your fellow Thor owners. Plan to join us! :fire:

We are trying to get our schedule right and convince a fellow Thor own and his wife to join us. This would be our first Thor Rally. I wanted to make the last one but DW had to work.

We may be making reservations late, is their a limited number of lots?

We will be coming from the Columbus, GA/Phenix City AL area. Look forward to meeting everyone.

Is there anyway to fix this thread on the forum; so that it does not disappear?

This is a very nice resort guys- Great job Mr. Sunshine. I have on the calendar, hope to make it.... If anyone is a golfer there is a nice course less than 5 minutes away, Brooksville Country Club.

Thank you Mr. Sunshine. We will try not to be sick for this rally. It will be great to see everyone again.

Since our timing is after most of the snow birds have flown back north, we should have plenty of room. Early reservations will be on sites near the group, while later ones might possibly be in a different area of the park.

Just 130 days from today, December 11th! Tried to give everybody plenty of time to plan. We've had 3 great rallies with Thor forum folks, and I continue to resist the urge to clue in local Thor dealers, to keep the integrity of the group.

Just attempted to call Kelsey, she will be out of her office until Thursday at 1pm. I will call back then and make two reservations, one for me and DW in our 34f and another for a friend and his DW in their 29.3. We will be checking in on the 12th and depart on the 16th.

I will make another post when everything is complete.

Well, I reached Kelsey and registered myself and a friend. Kelsey stated that she put use side by side which was important to us.

My RV is a Windsport 34f and my friend's is a 29.3.

Looking forward to the rally:)

We had so much fun at the fall rally we knew we had to come down again!
We will be staying from the 12th until the 16th.
We just returned from our two week shakedown run to San Antonio in our new ‘18 Hurricane 29M. It was cool for Texas, but still waaay warmer than Minnesota. The best part is we only found a couple of small things to add to the warranty list. Yay!

Tom and Linda are planning to come from Minnesota! They could win the longest distant prize, if there were prizes! Everybody should get a prize, just for showing up!

Talked to a couple of Florida based Thor reps today at the Tampa RV show. There's a good chance we'll have a Thor rep stop by our Spring Rally!
I suggested that a summer rally near Elkhart, IN for all Thor owners would be a great idea.

We may be able to make this trip...we are officially retiring 2/1 ...
with family in Lakeland, it is and will be a dual destination for us in the future !
I challenge those farther away to make this trip...from our door to Brooksville, it is 1285 miles !
It is not cut in stone yet..but, we will make every effort to attend...we, also, will be in Lakeland for 4th of July .. a family tradition.

Just saw this and very interested in attending .
We will be checking the dates today and hopefully on board!
We have family in Tampa and were planning a trip there in the spring .

After playing an extreme game of phone tag with Kelsey, we are registered for the get together. We are staying over on Sunday night, leaving Monday. :D

If its got "Thor" on it, you're welcome to come.
