Cheap Handling Fix (CHF) and Safe-T plus (yet again)
I have been reading through the past posts on CHF and SafeT plus. I am having new tires put on this week and having my mechanic do the CHF up front, while he is doing other things. We have class A, Outlaw 37LS toy hauler...just for reference
Does the CHF change turning radius? I understand it's overall purpose, but I have not read much on that topic. Will my turning radius be affected? We are about to make a journey from Florida home to Michigan for a couple of weeks. I am considering stopping by Austell, GA and have SafeT plus installed at the factory. Again, i understand it's purpose but am wondering has it changed the turning radius of anyone's rig? Thanks...:thumb: |
The CHF does not change the turning radius. I can't speak to the Safe-T Plus as we did not have that done (the CHF was plenty good for us!)

Thanks for the replies... :D will continue down the path and get the CHF and Safe T plus

Did CHF and safety plus on ace 29.3 didn’t change steering radius but made big difference in handeling |
Did both on my Hurricane, better ride and handling, no change in turning radius.
