Spare tire
 

I bought a 2018 Thor class c motor home and there is no spare tire I called the dealership and they said they don’t put one on any suggestion about mounting one underneath coach. I have a hitch mounted bike rack so there no room on bumper.

I have a 2019 Thor Hurricane 29m. I installed the hitch mounted spare tire carrier by Roadmaster. It has an additional receiver for either a bike rack or for towing. Works really well. Very well made and easy to access the tire. Only mod I did was to relocate my license plate.

Roadmaster is a terrific product - expensive but it will outlast several RVs. The pass through receiver would only work for towing if you don’t need a high/low adapter. It seems you are not allowed more than two hitch pins when towing. At least with my system. Also the unit reduces the tongue weight by 50%. So it’s great for a tire and bikes or my pair of mopeds but probably not a trailer.
