Move Fresh Water Tank Drain

On my Freedom Elite 22FE the fresh water tank drain is in a bad place. Every time I drain, the water splashes all over the axle and the driveway. I finally decided to crawl under and move it. The first elbow was the hardest but once connected the rest were easy. Route the 1 inch PVC over to the drivers side then along the coach wall all the way to the back being sure to maintain enough fall in the line for a good drain. At the end I added a hose connection valve followed by a 1 inch ball valve. Now I can hook up hose and direct the water off of the driveway or let it flow out the end of the coach. Not shown in the photos is an extra Tee to a 1/2 inch line I will run to the other side for a source for filling our Dog's water bowl. Best part is I no longer have to remove the screws in the panel where the original ball valve drain is every time i need to drain.

I been toying this this idea for my Axis. Except I was going to have a treaded end so I can hook a water hose up to it so I can water my plants and trees around the house with the "old water" in my tank. I try to keep my fresh water "Fresh".... so if its not empty under normal use every two months or so I will drain and refill with fresh filtered water from home.

Good idea Long & Winding, i included the hose connector on mine just to get it away from the driveway, didn't think about watering my flowers I can put it to good use..

Could a tire blow out or road debris shattering the pipe possibly damage the actual tank output fitting, causing tank replacement? Maybe add a rubber tube section or rubber elbow near the tank output that may pull apart vs. damage tank.

Good Point! Does need a slip-away joint.. Back to Home Depot ! The first part of the pipe is not as close to the tire as the photo indicates and is attached to the coach cross frame then routed 45 degrees over to the wall. May tie in 2 slip joints to be safe, one next to first elbow and the other where the long run starts . Thanks
