Dump Pipe Location
We just bought our first RV, a Chateau 29G, and I took it to a mechanic to add a solar panel and a Sani-Con grinder. The mechanic tells me that the outlet to dump the sewer is way too low. He can't install the grinder, and says that if it's not raised, just going over a speed bump could take the pipe out. It does look low, but, not having any experience with RV's, I thought it was normal. Does anyone know if this is a common issue with this model? Thanks!

Look at the bottom of the pipe and see if there ios evidence of scraping on the pavement. If not there shouldn't be a problem. On my prior class c I had 2 dumps. The one for the coach grey and black was inside a storage compartment. The one for the outside kitchen (separate 12 gallon grey tank) hung below the body of the coach and was about 3 or 4 inches off the ground. I never had an issue with rubbing anything.
