Hello and Welcome... also from nc. What lake are you heading to this weekend? We are heading to sycamore lodge on Friday. I'm a little worried about this mess they are calling for tomorrow night into Friday. I'm hoping the roads are ok for towing. But it should be really nice camping weather on Sat and Sun. ....by the way are you gonna rewinterize after the weekend or just drain the lines? Been trying to decide what we will do. I think I will blow the lines out and save my pink stuff when I drain it out. That way if I panic I can just run it back through. Anyways, congrats on the new Thor and have a great maiden voyage!

Hey we are heading to Kerr Lake State Park…i hope the rain kicks out early..and sat and sunday are going to be awesome. No more winterization needed I think…and hope! Can't wait for the big trip! enjoy!

Stay safe and watch out for downed trees, they are everywhere around here.

How was your maiden voyage?:coolsmiley:

Maiden voyage was a great success. The drive up was a bit rainy and windy...not a great addition to the ACE handling...but all was fine just going slow. The park power was out but that didn't matter...fired up the gen and had no issues whatsoever with heat or comfort. I was pleasantly surprised on all accounts. We found few leaks in the shower handles and main sink drain but they will be address next week. The auto levelers don't work right but I had no issue manually leveling. (they didn't work at home either). Just working out the storage and where things go issues but there is more than enough both inside and out. Love the rig and the space it gives us!!!
