Microwave/convection oven
Does anyone have a microwave/convection oven in a Vegas/Axis? If so, could you provide the make/model and where you got it. We have a 2016 Vegas 24.1 with a microwave and oven. We aren't users of the oven but would like to change out the microwave for a microwave/convection oven. Thanks for the help!

We have the micro/convection oven but it came with it. We specifically got a unit without the oven--wanted the extra drawers.

Our micro/convection is a High Pointe convection 1.1 CF (cubic foot) unit model # EC028BMR (from the build sheet of our camper).

HighPointe oven
Our 2016 Axis 24.1 came with a HighPointe microwave/convection oven. It works pretty good for most things.

Ekro -- I have a 2015 Vegas 24.1 and the same microwave/convection oven by HighPointe. It was standard equipment on my RV.

Check yours closely to be sure. You may already have a microwave/convection oven. There should have been an operating instructions leaflet in the canvas Thor bag that has all the literature provided by the factory.

By the way -- my dealer replaced my microwave/convection oven while we were still under warranty because the cooling fan quit working. They called HighPointe and HighPointe sent them a new microwave/convection oven. Took 3 days for the new oven to come in and the dealer took about 30 minutes to remove the old and install the new.

I've pulled ours out: It is only held in with the screws you see on front. It is big and heavy though so it may require an extra pair of hands.

We too have the Highpoint. Its probably not the most impressive microwave/convection oven in the world, but it does work and seems to do what its supposed to. At this point, I see no reason to change it out.
