water heater question
Well it's spring and my winterization worked out well. My only question now is the hot water heater tank on my Thor 30.1 only came with a plastic screw in plug. I am used to putting in those rods during the summer season to prevent corrosion but am wondering if the newer one's don't have or need them anymore. The plug /fitting is on an angle making it appear that the tank completely drains when the plug is removed.

Some hot water heaters do not take the rod, what brand is yours

Mine is an Atwood 6 gallon

Atwood does no use the rod it has different construction that removed that need

Thanks for the info, helps a lot.
