Generator issue on 28Z Class C
 

Our generator started run for a minute after switching power, then quit. The engine runs, but not getting any power to the coach. It is as if a breaker or switch tripped. Any ideas as to where to start looking for issues?

PS: everything works on shore power. Onan 4000 standard unit for Thor class C's.

Jim, start with the breaker on the genny. Next might be the transfer switch.

Being a complete newbie on generator issues, can you send me a picture of the location of the breaker and the transfer switch? Not a clue as to what to look for.

Take off the cover panel on the genny, mine just pulls out, you will see the breaker inside The transfer switch should be by your power input or close by.

Issue resolved. The main breaker was tripped, it is very hidden. Thanks to jegdrum5050 for the help.
